Badminton star An Se-young, who achieved consecutive victories, has returned home to a cheering crowd. Having risen to the world's top rank at the age of 24, she shared that she still has much left to accomplish and expressed her ambition to now race toward winning back-to-back Olympic gold medals.

An Se-young's heart still swells with emotion when she recalls the moment she achieved consecutive championships.

[An Se-young / National Badminton Team : It felt so good that words couldn't describe it, so the celebration seemed to come out naturally. I think I was overwhelmed with emotion thinking about winning back-to-back (Asian Games) titles.]

Smiling brightly as she shared that she had a light drinking session with her teammates for the first time in a while,

[An Se-young / National Badminton Team : I had a drink with (teammates) along with yakiniku. The first drink was good, but from the second one onwards, ah, it didn't taste good. It's exhausting after having fun.]

She also shared a behind-the-scenes story that, following this Asian Games victory, she gained new recognition from teammates in the so-called "Thigh Sisters," who used to tease her for having thin legs.

[An Se-young / National Badminton Team : There was a photo of my thighs posted on Instagram by (Baek) Hana unnie, and after showing her that, she told me, 'I guess I can acknowledge them a little bit now....']

Writing new history day by day, she is praised for being on the verge of becoming the greatest female singles player of all time at the age of 24, but she says there are still many things she wants to achieve.

[An Se-young / National Badminton Team : I just love badminton so much, and it's too early to call this my prime because there's still a lot of work ahead of me, so I feel like I still have a long way to go.]

An Se-young expressed her ambition to surpass her 11 wins this season to break the record for most wins, and to run tirelessly toward defending her Olympic title two years from now.

[An Se-young / National Badminton Team : My goal is to become a better version of myself than last year, and if I live doing my absolute best day by day, I believe I will be able to achieve the goal of winning back-to-back Olympic titles at some point.]
