A grenade believed to have been used during the Korean War has been found in Bukhansan National Park, located in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul.

According to SBS reporting, one grenade was found today near the bedrock close to Gucheon Falls inside Bukhansan National Park.

The grenade is presumed to have been buried underground and exposed to the surface as a result of a landslide. It reportedly was discovered while a landslide recovery team was restoring the damaged area.

As a result of an investigation by police and military authorities, it was confirmed that there are no suspicions of espionage or terrorism.
