SBS's "Whenever Possible" firmly defended its Tuesday night variety crown thanks to the fiery, high-stakes competitive spirit of Incheon natives Byun Yohan and Roh Jae-won.

According to ratings research firm Nielsen Korea on September 30, the previous day's broadcast of "Whenever Possible" (measured in the Seoul metropolitan area) recorded a peak rating of 4.5%, a household rating of 3.3%, and a 1.1% rating among the key 20-49 demographic. These figures swept first place among all programs in its time slot, as well as the No. 1 spot among all Tuesday variety shows for the 20-49 demographic.

On this episode, co-hosts Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok set out with "gap friends" Byun Yohan and Roh Jae-won to seek out pockets of free time across Incheon. The moment Yu Jae-seok met newlywed Byun Yohan, who recently married singer Tiffany Young, he voiced his disappointment, asking, "Why didn't you invite me to the wedding?" Byun Yohan explained, "We had a quiet ceremony with just our families," but as Yu Jae-seok continued to tease with suspicion, Byun fired back, "Would they be fake family members?" sending the set into fits of laughter.

Incheon natives Byun Yohan and Roh Jae-won then unleashed their unstoppable competitive drive. Meeting their first "gap owner," an exemplary taxi driver, Byun Yohan cleared round one on his very first attempt in the "Master of Parking" game, where players maneuver a toy taxi into a designated parking zone. With Byun shouting in excitement and his drive to win flaring up with every try, Yu Jae-seok marveled, "That is an all-time level of competitive spirit." Roh Jae-won even took on the challenge back-to-back without catching his breath, prompting Yu Jae-seok to remark in amazement at the locals' passion, "I thought you were extraordinary in 'Squid Game,' but this is incredible." The challenge unfortunately concluded with a narrow failure in round two.

The duo's sharp instincts shone once more during a bet for lunch. Byun Yohan impressed Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok with his bold gambler style, wagering both lunch and coffee in one go. The game was a coin-flipping match. Just before revealing the results, Roh Jae-won surprised everyone by flipping his hand over one more time. Yoo Yeonseok, who ended up picking up the tab, drew laughs as he sighed, "I got played by expert hustlers."

A dramatic spectacle unfolded during the "Music Stand Pong!" game played with the second gap owner, a timpanist from the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra. Backed by solemn background music provided by the timpanist, the team miraculously cleared stage two on their ninth attempt, successfully securing a gift for the gap owner. Byun Yohan expressed his heartfelt satisfaction, commenting, "This is pure drama."
