A fire broke out at a restaurant near Maebong Station in Seoul, leaving one person injured and eight others evacuated.

The Gangnam Fire Station in Seoul announced that the fire broke out at around 8:20 a.m. today (30th) on the first floor of a two-story building located in Dogok-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Due to the fire, eight people inside the restaurant evacuated, and one woman sustained minor burns and was transported to a hospital.

Fire authorities, who completely extinguished the fire about an hour after it started, are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
