Today (the 30th), the last day of September, rain is expected mainly in the central regions.

The rainfall will begin in the central-northern areas in the late afternoon, and expand to other central regions and northern Jeollabuk-do between evening and night.

Looking at the expected precipitation, amounts will not be very large, with 5 to 30 mm forecast for northeastern Gyeonggi Province and the inland northern part of Gangwon Province, and 5 to 10 mm for other central regions and northern Jeollabuk-do.

Skies in the southern regions will be mostly clear today.

However, you should watch out for dense fog during your morning commute.

Meanwhile, strong winds are expected to blow across most parts of the country starting this afternoon.

Current temperatures start off on a cool note at 16.6°C (62°F) in Seoul and 15.5°C (60°F) in Daegu.

Today's daytime highs are expected to reach 26°C (79°F) in Seoul and 28°C (82°F) in Daegu.

As cold air from the north moves southward after the rain stops, tomorrow's temperatures will drop by about 5 degrees Celsius compared to today, turning chilly.

You should prepare for rapid temperature changes.
