Starting next month, if drivers mistakenly exit a highway by mistake, the basic toll will be waived if they re-enter the same toll plaza within 15 minutes.

The toll reduction applies when using electronic payment methods such as Hi-Pass, and is available up to three times per vehicle per year.

However, the exemption is only applicable to state-funded highways managed by the Korea Expressway Corporation, such as the Gyeongbu Expressway, and does not apply to privately financed highways.
