World-class badminton women's singles star An Se-young has achieved back-to-back Asian Games titles, a feat never accomplished by anyone before. Smiling brightly, An said she wants to "have a glass of beer" for today.

In the final against world No. 3 Akane Yamaguchi, An Se-young briefly surrendered the initiative early in the first game to her opponent's fast-paced attacks.

However, An's time spent trailing did not last long.

She continuously lifted shuttlecocks to every corner of the court, forcing Yamaguchi to run relentlessly and draining her stamina. Whenever an opening appeared, she easily turned the tables with sharp smashes.

After wrapping up the first game 21-17, An grew even stronger in the early stages of the second game after enduring a fierce counterattack from Yamaguchi and getting hit in the face by a shuttlecock.

Even when Yamaguchi unleashed a flurry of smashes, An effortlessly returned them all, gently pushing shots into empty spaces on the court to leave Yamaguchi looking defeated.

When Yamaguchi's final attack landed out, sealing a 2-0 victory, An let out her signature roar, savoring the joy of the unprecedented back-to-back Asian Games championships.

Completing a "flawless victory" without dropping a single game while playing a combined total of just 180 minutes across five matches in the tournament, An smiled brightly as she hugged her parents who visited the venue, admitting that for today at least, she feels she might truly be the greatest of all time.
