Police are pursuing a suspect after receiving a report that a lawyer was allegedly abducted in a residential area in Gangnam, Seoul.

According to SBS coverage, the Seoul Gangnam Police Station received a report at around 11:00 AM today (the 29th) stating, "It appears a lawyer has been kidnapped."

Believing the possibility of an actual abduction, police requested cooperation from police stations across the Seoul area and began tracking the suspect's whereabouts.

In the process, police identified a suspect in his 40s, surnamed Kim, on charges including confinement, and are tracking his movements based on his travel route.

As the police pursuit continued, Kim reportedly fled, leaving the victim behind.
