In August, a stabbing incident occurred at a convenience store in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, where a female employee in her 60s was attacked with a weapon by a customer.

Earlier, it was reported that after having his request for alcohol on credit rejected, the man caused a disturbance and even issued a death threat.

And a few days later, he returned to the convenience store armed with a weapon and attacked the employee.


Although a fellow employee used a chair to block the man and took away the weapon, the victim sustained injuries requiring four weeks of recovery and is even receiving psychiatric treatment.
