President Lee Jae-myung said, "We will pursue three key social policies covering housing, jobs, and financial services for working-class citizens, which have the greatest impact on people's lives."

Chairing the 41st Cabinet meeting at the Blue House today (September 29), President Lee stated, "Despite various external difficulties, our economy is showing a strong growth trend, and we must further accelerate stabilizing people's livelihoods so that the warmth of growth can spread to every corner of all citizens' lives."

He added, "In particular, available financial resources and policy tools, including surplus tax revenue, must be actively utilized to alleviate polarization and inequality, which are key causes of anxiety in everyday lives," explaining, "We will intensively commit available resources to supplying 1.19 million homes under the housing stability plan, national job creation projects, and the expansion of inclusive finance."

He also urged, "Surplus tax revenue, the fruit of growth and recovery achieved through the efforts of all citizens, must be actively used as a catalyst to bring about practical improvements in people's lives and ease polarization," requesting, "All ministries and agencies, please make every effort to swiftly implement the three key social policies."
