In Gee Chun, who tied for second at the LPGA Tour Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, has climbed to 36th in the world rankings.

In the women's golf world rankings released today (KST), Chun rose 11 spots from 47th the previous week to claim 36th place.

Chun finished the LPGA Tour Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, which concluded on the 28th, in a tie for second place with a final score of 16-under-par 197.

Achieving her best finish of the season since the U.S. Women's Open in June (4th), Chun also significantly boosted her world ranking.

While Nelly Korda (United States) and Jeeno Thitikul (Thailand) maintained the top two spots, Yoo Hae-ran placed third, ranking the highest among South Korean players.

Kim Hyo-joo and Kim Sei-young remained unchanged at 4th and 9th, respectively, while Kim Min-sol and Lee Minjee maintained their positions at 15th and 16th.
