People Power Party leader Jang Dong-hyeok has argued that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un should be made to face "total ruin."

On his social media on Tuesday morning, Jang wrote, "'Mess with a Korean and face total ruin. Does that sound like an empty threat?' This is what President Lee Jae-myung said toward Cambodia just eight months ago," asking, "Shouldn't we bring 'total ruin' to North Korea's Kim Jong-un, who took the ankle of a 'South Korean soldier'?"

He added, "Shouldn't we immediately protest to North Korea for attacking 'our soldier' with a landmine and order the arrest of Kim Jong-un?"

Jang also claimed, "President Lee Jae-myung, who had been talking big left and right, has consistently kept his mouth shut regarding North Korea's landmine provocation," questioning, "Is he more afraid of Kim Jong-un than the public?"

He went on to scoff, "In Lee Jae-myung's 'Great Harmony World,' there is 'Kim Jong-un,' but there is no 'South Korean military.'"
