Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae has been found to possess assets worth approximately KRW 2.9 billion.

According to data released by the Government Public Ethics Committee, Mayor Park reported a total of KRW 2.905 billion in his property declaration as an elected public official, which includes KRW 669 million in buildings and KRW 2.125 billion in deposits.

Mayor Park's assets increased by about KRW 34 million compared to his property declaration in April of this year when he stepped down from his post as a member of the National Assembly. The increase was attributed to factors such as higher gains from beneficiary certificates, increased revenues in business accounts, and salary savings.

Among the newly elected heads of basic local governments in this local election, Gyeyang-gu Mayor Park Hyung-woo reported the highest assets at KRW 1.8 billion.

The assets of other local government heads followed in this order: Seohae-gu Mayor Goo Jae-yong with KRW 1.79 billion, Namdong-gu Mayor Lee Byung-rae with KRW 1.48 billion, Ongjin-gun County Mayor Jang Jung-min with KRW 1.33 billion, Michuhol-gu Mayor Kim Jung-sik with KRW 1.1 billion, Geomdan-gu Mayor Kim Jin-gyu with KRW 750 million, and Yeongjong-gu Mayor Son Hwa-jung with KRW 150 million.
