The first fall foliage of this year was observed on Mt. Seoraksan yesterday (September 28).

This is four days earlier than last year and at the same time as an average year.

Peak foliage on Mt. Seoraksan is expected around late October.

Rain will fall mainly along the East Coast today.

The expected precipitation is 5 to 40 mm for the east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do, and around 5 mm for Gangwon Yeongdong, Busan, and Ulsan.

Raindrops may also fall in other parts of Yeongnam, Jeonnam, and Jeju.

Skies in other inland areas will be clear today.

Current temperatures start off somewhat chilly, with Seoul at 14.9°C.

Today's daytime high in Seoul is expected to be 26°C, similar to yesterday.

Rain is expected in the central regions and Jeonbuk tomorrow, and it will turn sharply chilly starting the day after tomorrow.
