Rain is in the forecast for the rest of September.

Autumn rain will fall on the east coast today (the 29th), and expand to the central and Jeonbuk regions tomorrow.

The rain will begin in the Gangwon Yeongdong region early this morning, and expand to the east coast of Gyeongsangbuk-do, Busan, and Ulsan by the morning.

Precipitation will be light, ranging between 5 and 20 millimeters.

On Wednesday, tomorrow, autumn rain of 5 to 20 millimeters is expected in the central and Jeonbuk regions.

Meanwhile, the first autumn foliage of the season was reported on Mount Seoraksan yesterday.

This is four days earlier than last year.

The foliage is expected to reach its peak in about two weeks.

Let us take a look at the temperatures.

This morning's low in Seoul is 15°C (59°F), which is about 4°C lower than yesterday, bringing a seasonal coolness typical of this time of year.

During the day, temperatures will rise significantly, with highs reaching 26°C (79°F) in Seoul and 28°C (82°F) in Gwangju, resulting in a very large daily temperature range.

On Thursday, the first day of October, cold air will move in, making the weather noticeably chilly.
