Half of infants and toddlers are found to start using smartphones before turning 2 years old.

According to a survey of 400 parents of young children aged 2 to 5 conducted by the National Center for Mental Health, 51% of the children began using smartphones before the age of 2.

The World Health Organization recommends that infants and toddlers under the age of 2 avoid screen exposure, including smartphone use.
