Actor Park Shin-hye, who recently gave birth to her second child, a daughter, has shared an update showing her passionate support for the national baseball team from her postpartum care center.

On September 27, Park Shin-hye posted a photo on her social media showing herself watching a baseball game from the care center. The photo captured her television tuned to the SBS broadcast of the baseball final between South Korea and Japan at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Well known as an avid baseball fan, Park Shin-hye celebrated the national team's gold medal victory in real time, adding enthusiastic captions such as "Let's win today" and "I believed in you. Let's protect this lead!" Fans were delighted to receive such a joyful update just five days after she gave birth.

Earlier on September 22, her agency SALT Entertainment announced in an official statement, "Park Shin-hye gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and a new family member has arrived for the couple, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon," adding, "Both mother and baby are currently in good health, and she is resting and recovering amidst the care of her family."

After dating for four years, Park Shin-hye married actor Choi Tae-joon in January 2022 and welcomed their first child, a son, in May of the same year. Following the birth of her first child, Park Shin-hye led a streak of consecutive hits including "Doctor Slump," "The Judge from Hell," and "Undercover Miss Hong." After announcing her second pregnancy in April, she safely welcomed her daughter into the world. She is scheduled to return to the small screen next year in SBS's "The Judge from Hell 2."
