A traffic accident occurred in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where a passenger car crossed the center line and collided with a bus near the Sungkyunkwan University entrance intersection.

The Seoul Hyehwa Police Station announced today (September 28) that it has booked a man in his 20s, surnamed A, under charges of violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Settlement of Traffic Accidents.

A is accused of driving his passenger car around 12:30 p.m. today, crossing the center line while making a left turn at the Sungkyunkwan University entrance intersection, and crashing into a city bus.

Due to the accident, two elderly passengers on the bus were injured and transported to the hospital.

Police investigations revealed that A was neither driving without a license nor under the influence of alcohol.

Police plan to investigate A to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
