Group IVE is set to return with a new album after roughly eight months following the conclusion of their second world tour.

Their agency, Starship Entertainment, consecutively released comeback teaser videos for the new mini album "Looks Can Kill" on its official social media channels. The video depicts projection mapping displayed across downtown skyscrapers to announce the new release. Alongside the new album logo, the text "IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19" appears, with Seoul landmarks emerging behind the high-rise buildings.

IVE will release a pre-release track on October 19 before dropping the mini album "Looks Can Kill" on October 26. This comeback arrives about eight months after the release of their second full-length album, "REVIVE+", in February. IVE achieved a Perfect All-Kill (PAK) as their double title track "BANG BANG" topped major domestic music charts, marking the group's sixth career PAK. On music broadcast shows, the group collected a total of nine trophies, securing eight wins with "BANG BANG" and one win with "BLACKHOLE."

IVE began their second world tour, "SHOW WHAT I AM," in Seoul and traveled to major cities across Asia, Oceania, and North America. They performed at venues throughout various regions, including Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome in Japan, and held concerts across eight cities in North America, including Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver in Canada.
