The Chuseok holiday box office has been swept by 'The Assassins' and 'Tazza: Song of Beelzebub.'

They have climbed to the No. 1 and No. 2 spots at the box office side by side.

'The Assassins,' which depicts the story surrounding the 1974 shooting of First Lady Yuk Young-soo, surpassed 1 million moviegoers last Saturday, just four days after its release.

It recorded a cumulative audience of 1.3 million as of yesterday afternoon (September 27).

It has maintained the top spot at the box office since its release on September 23.

'Tazza: Song of Beelzebub' is currently ranked second at the box office with 660,000 viewers.

Despite its restricted rating for youths, it is showing a high seat occupancy rate of 53%.

'Odyssey,' which previously attracted 10 million moviegoers, is also maintaining its enduring popularity by ranking third at the box office.
