With the weather turning noticeably chilly, it is almost time for air conditioners to take a well-deserved break.

However, it seems you need to take a close look inside before you stop using them.

A clump of fur is sticking out from one side of the air conditioner.

At first, they thought nothing of it, but upon closer inspection, something was moving inside, leading them to call a technician to dismantle the unit.

Surprisingly, what revealed itself was a small animal!

Its identity was a marsupial called a possum in Australia.

But that was not the end of it.

When they looked further inside, a possum family—believed to be a mother and its babies—had made themselves at home inside the air conditioner.

Everyone was greatly startled by the unexpected uninvited guests, but the possums were safely rescued afterward and moved to a safe place.
