South Korean artistic swimmers Heo Yoon-seo (Sungkyunkwan University) and Kim Ji-yoon (Unjung High School) finished fifth in the duet event at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

The pair scored 245.9430 points (113.6000 in artistic impression and 132.3430 in execution) in the artistic swimming duet free routine held at the Hamamatsu City General Swimming Pool in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, on the 27th.

Having recorded 258.6234 points (5th place) in the technical routine held the previous day, the duo totaled 504.5664 points to wrap up the competition in fifth place among seven competing pairs.

The gold medal went to China's Lin Yanjun and Xu Huiyan, who finished first in both the technical (317.5108 points) and free routines (322.8468 points) for a combined total of 640.3576 points.

Hosts Japan's Moe Higa and Tomoka Sato claimed the silver medal with a total of 601.5566 points.

The bronze medal went to Kazakhstan's Nargiza Bolatova and Yasmin Tuyakova, who finished with a combined total of 565.7326 points.
