At around 7:47 AM today (September 27), a man in his 50s, surnamed A, fell off the Seuldo breakwater in Bangeo-dong, Dong-gu, Ulsan, and became trapped between tetrapods.

Responding to a report from a nearby angler, the Ulsan Coast Guard and fire authorities rescued Mr. A 12 minutes later.

Mr. A was injured and transported to a hospital, but reports indicate his life is not in danger.

The Ulsan Coast Guard is investigating the exact cause of the accident, believing that Mr. A slipped while fishing after drinking alcohol.
