President Lee Jae-myung held a tea meeting with accompanying reporters in Anchorage, Alaska, a stopover on his return trip following his tour of the United States and Mexico on the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Lee and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung arrived at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport on the afternoon of September 26, local time.

Anchorage Mayor Suzanne LaFrance and Consul General in Seattle Jang Sung-gil were among those who welcomed the presidential couple at the airport.

Air Force One made a brief stopover in Anchorage for refueling and maintenance, and the presidential couple used this time to meet with reporters accompanying the tour for a tea meeting.

Earlier, President Lee completed a seven-day, five-night tour of the United States and Mexico on the occasion of the UN General Assembly.
