South Korean national race walking team member Ju Hyun-myung (Samsung Electronics) finished 5th in the men's marathon race walk at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Ju completed the 42.195-kilometer course on the roads of Nagoya today (27th) in 3 hours, 14 minutes, and 31 seconds. Japan's Hayato Katsuki took the win in 3 hours, 3 minutes, and 36 seconds, followed by China's Zhou Yingcheng (3 hours, 6 minutes, and 40 seconds), Japan's Motofumi Suwa (3 hours, 8 minutes, and 57 seconds), and China's Tang Yu-shuai (3 hours, 13 minutes, and 54 seconds).

Ju was attempting to win another medal eight years after claiming a bronze in the men's 50km race walk at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, but narrowly missed a spot on the podium.

Seven athletes competed in the men's marathon race walk at this tournament, with six finishing the race.
