Hyundai Motor's flagship full-size SUV, The All-New Palisade (second generation), is expected to reach a cumulative sales milestone of 300,000 units as early as this month.
According to Hyundai Motor on September 27, The All-New Palisade recorded cumulative sales of 281,920 units over approximately 20 months from its launch in January of last year until last month.
Given that it has been selling at a monthly average of about 15,000 units this year, achieving the 300,000-unit milestone is projected to be possible as early as this month, or at the latest by next month.
This pace is about 1.4 times faster than the first-generation Palisade, which was released in December 2018 and took approximately two years and four months to reach 300,000 cumulative sales.
The All-New Palisade is the second-generation fully redesigned model introduced by Hyundai in six years. It has shown steady growth, starting with 18,000 units sold in the global market last January and recording 20,330 units sold in June.
However, sales dropped to 7,422 units last month due to the seasonal off-peak period.
