The Wall Street Journal reported on the 25th, local time, that U.S. President Donald Trump has rejected a "7-day plan" proposed by Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump is reportedly skeptical of Iran's truce proposal and has left open the possibility of resuming strikes on Iran after the U.S. midterm elections in November.

Prior to this, Iran proposed to the United States that it would open the Strait of Hormuz within seven days if the U.S. fulfills preconditions such as unfreezing Iranian assets.
