A fire broke out at a commercial building in Wando-gun on Chuseok day, taking about two hours and 20 minutes to extinguish.

At around 7:20 PM yesterday (September 25), a fire occurred at a gas appliance store located in Wando-eup, Wando-gun, South Jeolla Province.

No injuries were reported, but the incident caused a commotion with about 20 nearby residents and others evacuating the area.

Fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the scale of property damage as soon as daylight breaks.
