A fire broke out at a house in Muan-gun on Chuseok day, prompting authorities to launch a firefighting operation.

The fire occurred at a one-story house in Hyeon-gyeong-myeon, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, at around 8:30 PM yesterday (the 25th).

The fire department mobilized some 40 personnel and about 10 pieces of equipment, bringing the major flames under control approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes after receiving the report.

No casualties have been reported so far.

The fire department plans to investigate the exact cause of the fire once it is fully extinguished.
