Fires broke out at a container and a vinyl greenhouse in Wonju, Gangwon Province, on Chuseok day, prompting authorities to launch firefighting operations.

At around 8:20 p.m. today (September 25), a report was received stating that a "wooden house was burning" in Seogok-ri, Panbu-myeon, Wonju, Gangwon Province.

The fire burned the vinyl greenhouse and a storage container before being extinguished in about an hour, and authorities confirmed that there were no injuries.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact ignition point, cause, and scale of the damage.
