A fire broke out at an apartment in Incheon on Chuseok today (September 25), leaving a resident in their 20s injured.

The fire occurred at around 6:20 AM today on the 5th floor of a 15-story apartment building in Dongyang-dong, Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.

Due to the fire, a man in his 20s who was inside the apartment was transported to a nearby hospital in cardiac arrest, but his condition later improved, according to authorities.

The interior of the affected unit was completely burned, and neighboring residents were evacuated.

Fire authorities deployed 73 personnel and 30 pieces of equipment, completely extinguishing the fire in 30 minutes.

Fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of property damage.
