Independent lawmaker Han Dong-hoon staged a one-person protest on the afternoon of September 24 to urge the military to conduct an on-site investigation into a "presumed explosion in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)."

Holding a press conference in front of the Ministry of National Defense in Yongsan District, Seoul, that afternoon, Han urged, "I warn the Lee Jae-myung administration, the Democratic Party, and the Ministry of National Defense," adding, "Launch an on-site investigation immediately."

Prior to the press conference, Han posted a series of messages on his Facebook page calling for an immediate on-site investigation.
