A fire broke out on a 3.3-ton fishing boat moored at Neukdo Port in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, at around 3 PM today.

Firefighters dispatched to the scene after receiving a report extinguished the blaze in about 20 minutes, at 3:17 PM.

Fire authorities stated that there were no injuries resulting from the fire.

Police and fire authorities, believing the fire started on an empty boat while it was moored, are currently investigating the exact cause of the blaze.
