A fire broke out on the fifth floor of a 14-story apartment building in Sanbuk-dong, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 5:20 a.m. today (September 24), and was extinguished in about 50 minutes.

The fire left a man in his 60s with third-degree burns over his entire body, and he was transported to a hospital.

Fire authorities and police are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
