Today (September 24), the first day of the Chuseok holiday, skies will be mostly cloudy nationwide, with rain expected to begin in the Gangwon region late tonight.

The expected precipitation through the day after tomorrow is 5 to 20 millimeters in the northern East Coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon.

Dense fog with visibility of less than 200 meters is expected in parts of South Chungcheong Province and eastern Jeonbuk until this morning.

Additionally, other regions may experience fog reducing visibility to under 1 kilometer, requiring caution for safety accidents.

Weather with large temperature fluctuations between day and night will continue.

In particular, central inland areas may see temperature gaps of 10 to 15 degrees Celsius between daytime highs and nighttime lows.

Daytime highs are forecasted to range from 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
