Yesterday, local time, the three major U.S. stock indices closed lower due to concerns over additional interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve and a surge in Treasury yields.

On this day, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 352.10 points, or 0.68 percent, to close at 51,511.59.

The S&P 500 dropped 58.61 points, or 0.75 percent, to 7,706.03, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite declined 308.24 points, or 1.13 percent, to finish at 26,936.04.
