A fire broke out at a resource recycling facility in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and was extinguished in about three hours.

The fire occurred at around 10:20 a.m. today (September 23) at a resource recycling facility located in Hyangnam-eup, Manse-gu, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

Fire authorities deployed around 50 personnel and roughly 10 pieces of equipment, successfully extinguishing the fire at around 1:20 p.m.

No casualties have been reported from the incident.

Based on a witness report stating that the fire started near the waste materials, fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause.
