A fire broke out at a massage parlor in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, resulting in three casualties.

Around 8:00 a.m. today (the 23rd), a fire broke out at a two-story commercial building located in Yanggam-myeon, Manse-gu, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

The fire killed a woman in her 50s, identified as A, while another woman in her 50s was rescued in cardiac arrest and transferred to a hospital.

Another woman in her 50s, who evacuated immediately after the fire started, received treatment for smoke inhalation.

Fire authorities deployed about 20 pieces of equipment and around 70 personnel, extinguishing the fire about three hours after receiving the report.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
