Jo Yu-ri, who captivated domestic and global viewers with her impressive performance in "Squid Game" Season 2, has now been chosen by one of South Korea's representative cinematic masters.

Jo stars in the Netflix film "Possible Love," which hits theaters today (Sept. 23).

"Possible Love" deeply captures the fractures of life and hidden desires encountered as two different couples become intertwined: a laid-off worker couple and a documentary director couple. It is acclaimed director Lee Chang-dong's first new work in eight years and won the Silver Lion (Grand Jury Prize) at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.

In the film, Jo plays the teenage version of Mi-ok, portrayed by Jeon Do-yeon. Upon her first appearance, her uniquely youthful visuals made her difficult to recognize as Jo Yu-ri. Her fresh mask shone, instantly catching viewers' attention, and she subsequently portrayed the character's hardships, enhancing immersion into Mi-ok's childhood narrative.

The film "Possible Love" will be pre-released in select theaters on Sept. 23 before officially streaming worldwide via Netflix on November 6.
