SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Doctor X: Mafia in White" (hereinafter "Doctor X: Mafia in White") has instantly heightened anticipation by releasing character posters of its four main leads.

Slated to premiere on Friday, October 9, the production team of "Doctor X: Mafia in White" unveiled the character posters on the 23rd, capturing the overwhelming aura of Kim Ji-won (as Gye Su-jeong), Lee Jung-eun (as Jang Hee-sook), Son Hyun-joo (as Bu Seung-kwon), and Kim Woo-seok (as Park Tae-kyung).

"Doctor X: Mafia in White" is a refreshing medical noir depicting the journey of Gye Su-jeong, known as the "mad dog of the operating room" and Doctor X, who shatters massive absurdities with genius surgical skills that know neither failure nor compromise.

In the released posters, Kim Ji-won portrays Gye Su-jeong, a "medical dark hero" set to cut down corrupt medical power, through a cold expression and an intense red background. Lee Jung-eun plays Jang Hee-sook, an experienced employment agency head who hides her inner thoughts behind a good-natured smile. Son Hyun-joo plays Bu Seung-kwon, a hospital director who holds the microphone in the surgery observation room and agonizes between conviction and power. Kim Woo-seok plays Park Tae-kyung, an intern who gets entangled with Gye Su-jeong and wears a flustered expression in the operating room. Together, their distinct auras foreshadow the cracks that will form within the massive "White Mafia" worldview.

In addition, the "Doctor X: Mafia in White" team has prepared a special Chuseok holiday gift. On Saturday, September 26 at 8:30 AM and Sunday, September 27 at 8:35 AM, a two-part preview special titled "Doctor X: Starting the Surgery Today" will be broadcast, providing viewers a chance to understand the worldview and core narrative of the show at a glance before its official premiere.

"Doctor X: Mafia in White," the highly anticipated second-half project from genre drama powerhouse SBS, will premiere on Friday, October 9 at 9:50 PM.
