The Chuseok holiday is finally just around the corner.

Rain is forecasted in various regions during this upcoming holiday.

First, rain will begin late at night on the first day of the holiday in the northern inland areas of Gangwon-yeongdong, continuing in the east coast region until the morning of Chuseok day.

On the evening of Chuseok day, rain is also expected to start in the central, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk regions, with the rain in the central regions mostly subsiding by Saturday morning.

However, the rain in the southern regions will continue until Saturday night.

The amount of rainfall during this holiday is expected to be relatively small.

Meanwhile, today (the 23rd), which marks the autumnal equinox term of Cheubun, will feature clear skies nationwide.

In the morning, you should watch out for fog in the inland areas of Gangwon.

Strong swells will continue to wash ashore along coastal areas until today.

Seoul currently starts off mild at 19.3°C (67°F).

This afternoon, temperatures will rise to 29°C (84°F) in Seoul and Daegu, and 30°C (86°F) in Jeonju, keeping the daytime hot today as well.
