Independent lawmaker Kang SUNOO and former Seoul City Councilor Kim Kyung, who were indicted under detention on charges of giving and receiving 100 million won in exchange for a city council nomination, have been released on bail. Lawmaker Kang and former Councilor Kim will attend their first-instance sentencing hearing scheduled for next month in October without detention.
