"National MC" Yu Jae-seok abruptly canceled a scheduled broadcast recording on the day of the shoot due to health issues.

Yu Jae-seok was scheduled to film Season 5 of the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible" at a location in Seoul on the 22nd, but right before the recording, due to sudden poor condition, he asked for the understanding of the on-site staff and production team and decided to cancel.

On this day, Yu Jae-seok's agency, Antenna, stated, "Yu Jae-seok had to inevitably cancel the recording as he showed symptoms of a temporary high fever due to a bad cold," adding, "He is currently focusing on recovery."

The production team of "Whenever Possible" also stated, "Yu Jae-seok asked the staff for understanding and canceled the shoot due to a sudden drop in condition right before filming," adding, "We plan to reschedule and proceed with the recording soon."

Known for his thorough self-management, it is the first time in 35 years since his debut at the 1st KBS College Comedy Festival in 1991 that Yu Jae-seok has canceled a recording on the day of due to health reasons. Following the sudden news about him, who has usually maintained broadcasting without disruption, worries and messages of support from the broadcasting industry and fans are continuing.
