Group KARA member Han Seung-yeon, 37, who is known to be receiving treatment for a cervical herniated disc, is drawing concern from fans after performing at a university festival despite her condition.

KARA took to the stage at Sogang University on the 18th, performing five of their hit songs consecutively, including "Pretty Girl," "Honey," "Lupin," "Step," and "Mister." Han Seung-yeon and the other members performed live while executing choreography amid enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

However, as footage of the event spread online, netizens have been expressing concern, pointing out that Han Seung-yeon did not look entirely well.

In the video, Han Seung-yeon performed the choreography with almost no movement of her neck to the left or right, and at times smiled slightly as if trying to hide signs of struggle. Observations that her face appeared more swollen than usual have further heightened worries about her health.

Previously, during her birthday fan meeting last month, rumors of health issues arose when she was captured shaking her hands on multiple occasions. At the time, her agency, AER Entertainment, stated, "Han Seung-yeon's hand-shaking symptoms occurred as her recent cervical disc issues worsened. She is currently receiving hospital treatment, and there are no other health issues."
