Samsung Electronics Service announced that it will provide emergency repair services during the Chuseok holiday.

Service centers will be closed on September 24, the first day of the holiday, and September 25, Chuseok Day. However, on the weekend of September 26 – 27, nine weekend care centers will provide repair services for smartphones, tablets, and wearable devices through advance reservations.

The weekend care centers include Samsung Gangnam (Seoul), Hongdae (Seoul), Jungdong (Bucheon), Seongnam, Guseong (Yongin), Daejeon, Gwangsan (Gwangju), Namdaegu, and Dongnae (Busan).

Reservations for the weekend care centers can be made in advance via the Samsung Electronics Service website or by phone, and operating hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

The Samsung Gangnam center operates from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Eleven "Baro Service" stores co-located inside Samsung Stores will also provide simple smartphone inspections and protective film attachment services on September 26 – 27.

Contact center counselors and on-site service engineers will also work on an emergency duty system during the holiday period.

For urgent repairs requiring immediate attention, an "emergency on-site service" will be provided.

The primary targets for this service are urgent inspection needs, such as refrigerator freezing and cooling breakdowns.

In addition, in preparation for the holiday, Samsung Electronics Service will post product-by-product self-diagnosis methods, frequently asked questions, and self-troubleshooting guides on its website, while also supporting services such as an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot.
