Yesterday evening at around 8:00 PM, a light car rear-ended a cultivator traveling ahead on a road in Jinan-eup, Jinan-gun, Jeollabuk-do.

Due to the accident, the cultivator driver, a man in his 70s, was transported to a nearby hospital in a state of cardiac arrest.

The driver of the light car, a man in his 50s, also sustained injuries to his neck and is receiving treatment.

No circumstances involving drunk driving or drug use have been found so far.

Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
