The national football team, making a fresh start under manager Moreno, gathered for their first training session today, September 21. Meanwhile, midfield core Hwang In-beom and key defender Lee Han-beom have returned home in high spirits after scoring their debut goals for their respective new clubs side by side.

Hwang In-beom put the finishing touch on the match during the season's first showdown between Portuguese league archrivals Porto and Benfica.

In the 15th minute of the second half with Porto leading 2-1, he struck a right-footed shot from a teammate's pass from the right to score the decisive goal.

Celebrating his 30th birthday, Hwang marked his first goal since transferring to Porto, leading his team to a 3-1 victory and their seventh consecutive win.

Defender Lee Han-beom of Club Brugge in Belgium also scored his first goal since joining the team with his signature header, helping pave the way for a third straight victory.

As Hwang and Lee returned home after tasting goals side by side at their new clubs, the national team has stood at a new starting line, overcoming the shock of their group-stage elimination from the North and Central American World Cup.

After assembling, the players had individual meetings with new manager Moreno and received tailored schedules. In particular, Jeong Seung-won, who is showcasing peak performance in the K League, expressed his determination to continue his momentum in the national team and make a strong impression.
