Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, Kakao Mobility has unveiled smart and budget-friendly travel tips utilizing Kakao Navis' traffic congestion checking features and Kakao T Car Rental's vehicle options.

According to Kakao Mobility, when providing route guidance that reflects accident or congested sections, Kakao Navis also offers the reasons behind its real-time optimal route recommendations.

Upon entering a congested section, users can tap the speech bubble prompt on the screen to view real-time CCTV footage of that specific area.

Users can check their number of speeding, sudden acceleration, and sudden deceleration events on the driving score page within the Kakao Navis Driving Life menu.

Those who have driven over 500 km in the past six months and achieved a certain score or higher can receive discount benefits when signing up for or renewing auto insurance with partner insurers.

Kakao Mobility plans to expand its usage-based insurance (UBI) partners from two companies, DB Insurance and AXA General Insurance, to four, including KB Insurance and Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance.

Kakao T Car Rental has partnered with some 500 small and medium-sized rental car businesses nationwide to expand its vehicle options, including approximately 50 electric vehicle models such as Tesla and Polestar, as well as premium vans.

Users can compare brands, model years, rental fees, and insurance conditions within the Kakao T app.

Kakao Mobility is also running a first-come, first-served special promotion until October 11, allowing users to rent select vehicle models, such as the Avante, Sonata, K5, and Trax, for three days in the 100,000-won range.
