Kong Sang-jung (30), a former short-track national athlete, and doctor Seo Min-hyung (30), who reunited on TVING's "EXchange Season 3," tied the knot and became a married couple on September 20.

Fellow "EXchange 3" cast members, including Lee Seo-kyung, Lee Joo-won, Choi Chang-jin, and Lee Yu-kyung, attended the wedding, sharing scenes from the venue on social media to congratulate the couple on their fresh start. Couple Seo Dong-jin and Song Da-hyeong also left congratulatory messages saying, "Be happy" and "Congratulations to such a beautiful couple." With this, the two have become the first married couple among participants from the "EXchange" series.

Kong Sang-jung and Seo Min-hyung reunited and became a final couple on TVING's "EXchange 3," which aired in 2024. Having dated for three months before breaking up and appearing on the program just six weeks later, they drew attention as the couple with the shortest dating and breakup periods. Even on the show, they showed unchanging affection for each other and ultimately became a final couple. Afterward, they continued their relationship outside the show for about two years.

Previously, Kong Sang-jung directly announced the news of her marriage through her social media last April. At the time, she stated, "We've come this far, loving each other busier than anyone else—arguing, fighting, making up, and bickering. We had so many differences, but we learned the fun of adjusting to each other, and our understanding grew a bit more. We are still learning how not to fight."

Regarding the wedding preparation process, she shared, "Last winter, Min-hyung booked the wedding venue without my knowledge, which marked the beginning of our wedding preparations. After receiving a cute proposal and preparing one by one with a fluttering heart, time has flown by in a flash." She added, "Passing through the approaching summer, I am becoming an autumn bride. Please continue to send us warm support so we can remain a couple filled with laughter and love just like now."

Kong Sang-jung won a gold medal in the women's 3,000m relay in short track at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and has been working as a short-track starter referee since her retirement in 2021. Seo Min-hyung works as a doctor.

Meanwhile, amid a recent series of marriage announcements from "EXchange" cast members, Season 1 participant Go Min-young also drew attention after announcing her marriage following her reunion with her partner last April.
