The musical "The Phantom of the Opera," which is celebrating its global 40th anniversary (presented by Clip Service, produced by S&Co), has revealed all 41 cast members who will lead the special season.

Choi Jae-rim and Jeon Dong-seok, who received favorable reviews in the 2023 production, will put the mask back on as the Phantom, and Park Kang-hyun will join the new season as a new Phantom. Lee Hae-won and Choi Sun-ho have been newly cast as Christine, marking their musical debut stage. The role of Raoul will be played by Song Won-keun, who appeared in the 2023 performance, and Kim Sung-sik, who is newly joining.

Yoon Young-sk, Lee Sang-jun, and Kim A-sun, who have been together since the Korean premiere, will also participate in this season. Yoon Young-sk takes the stage as Monsieur André, Lee Sang-jun, who holds a record of over 700 appearances, as Monsieur Firmin, and Kim A-sun, with a record of 500 appearances, as Madame Giry. In addition, Evelyn and Han Bo-ra will play Carlotta, Cho Ha-rin will play Meg Giry, and Lee Sang-moon will play Piangi, alongside a diverse ensemble and dancer lineup.

Associate Director Rainer Fried expressed anticipation regarding the new Phantom, Park Kang-hyun, saying, "When I heard his voice, I was immediately convinced that we had found a truly special individual fit for the Phantom."

"The Phantom of the Opera" is a representative work by Andrew Lloyd Webber, having been performed in 217 cities across 52 countries in 23 languages and viewed by more than 160 million people. Celebrating its global 40th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of its Korean premiere, this Korean-language production will run for just two months from December 22 to February 28, 2027, at Blue Square Woori Bank Hall in Seoul.
